Casey joined Tri-County CAA as the WIC Coordinator in spring of 2018 and began offering nutrition counseling and Medical Nutrition Therapy at the Tri-County Health Centers in fall of 2018. Casey attended Johnson & Whales University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Culinary Nutrition concentrating in clinical dietetics. She is on the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and is also a Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educator. Casey was instrumental in bringing Farmer’s Markets to Tri-County, and connecting WIC and Health Center families to fresh, healthy, affordable food options. In her spare time, Casey enjoys cooking, kayaking, and biking.
